C3 Technologies was founded in September 2012 by Charles du Plessis after working for a similar family run business for more than 14 years. Charles, an Electrical Engineering graduate from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, is also a trained LV Switchgear & Controlgear assemblies assessor in terms of the SANS legislation.
This Western Cape based business, which is recognised as one of the top suppliers in the region, manufactures and modifies custom made Low Voltage Electrical distribution boards and associated products such as generator change-over systems, distribution kiosks and power factor correction systems. All the products are specially designed and manufactured according to the client’s needs and specifications.
After starting the business in 2012 with only three staff members, C3 Technologies now employs 34 people, 11 of which have now no prior experience in the industry, and have been trained internally by Charles and fellow staff members.
C3 Technologies has successfully established itself as one of the most prominent, reliable and preferred manufacturers and suppliers in the industry. Due to the consistant high quality of products and service, the business’s turnover doubled during its second year in operation. Charles believes that providing clients with superior products within a quick turnaround time is what sets C3 Technologies apart from its competition and gives the business a competitive edge. Through a stringent quality control process he ensures that only top quality products are produced and distributed.
